Sterilization Assistant - Penticton Dental Centre

Our professional team has enabled us to diversify and concentrate our energy in becoming well-versed in different areas of dental services such as orthodontics, wisdom teeth surgery, Bioclear aesthetic bonding, Botox treatment, and much more!
Schedule: Flexible - 4 days per week on a Monday to Friday clinic open operations, depending on clinic needs.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Hygiene Lead to determine the day-to-day scheduling needs.
- Assist hygienists by prepping operatories between patients and ensuring treatment rooms are prepared in accordance with infection control and practice protocols.
- Perform all sterilization duties in the operatories and sterilization area, ensuring compliance with sanitation protocols.
- Take notes and complete charting accurately as required.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of practice health and safety requirements.
About You:
- Previous clinical experience working in a sterilization role is considered an asset.
- Completion of sterilization courses is preferred.
- Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.
- Strong commitment to maintaining sanitation and infection control standards.
